FIRST TIME E-MAIL INFORMATION

As many of you have probably noticed, some of us in the Stake Presidency are using the @tooelenorthstake.org name for e-mail. We are finally ready to expand that out and offer it to other stake callings and we'd like to start with the High Council and see if any of you have interest. Here are some of the benefits for using this e-mail address:

• Private, confidential e-mail
• Personalized for your calling
• When you are released from your calling, we will simply change the password and hand over the account to the new individual, which accomplishes 2 important things:
  1. All the pertinent historical communication is easily transferred to the newindividual which is fully searchable
  2. People will not need new e-mail contact info since the e-mail address is for the calling, and not the individual (thus making it easier for others to be in instant contact with the new person in the calling)

Accessing the e-mail account is as simple as accessing the website: webmail.tooelenorthstake.org

E-mail addresses will be standardized and the part before the @ symbol will be abbreviated. For example:

HCO1@tooelenorthstake.org would be the High Counselor from the Overlake 1st ward.

HCT29@tooelenorthstake.org would be the High Counselor from the Tooele 29th ward.

This is a voluntary option and is here for your convenience only.

If you would like to begin using a tooelenorthstake e-mail address please simply respond with a Yes to this e-mail and I will respond back with your temporary password which you will change upon your first logon.

TECH NOTES:

• We are using a Google service called Google Apps to host the e-mail addresses. This means that if you are an existing GMail user you can easily integrate the tooelenorthstake address into your existing inbox if you wish.
• Support for POP, IMAP, and EXCHANGE are available.
• There is full mobile support for these addresses.
